Internationalisation is one of the pillars of Masaryk University and mobility abroad is often one of the most valuable experiences students can gain during their studies. That is why MU offers its students a wide range of mobility programmes and opportunities for studies, internships or research stays abroad, essentially opening the door to the world for them. Don't hesitate to take advantage of this opportunity!

Programmes with currently open applications: 

Erasmus + traineeships

A Pharmacy student can go for an internship to a pharmacy, hospital, medical laboratory, manufacturing company, cosmetic or food industry, or any other healthcare institution related to their field of studies, for a duration 2-12 months

The students choose the institution and arrange the internship themselves.

The current selection procedure's application deadline is 31.7. with start of the traineeship from 15.9.2026 and later. 

1) Traineeships within Europe:

  • EU & EEA countries + UK, Switzerland, Türkiye, Serbia, North Macedonia, Andorra, Faroe Islands, Monaco, San Marino and Vatican City
  • scholarship: 690-810/month

2) Traineeship outside Europe

  • anywhere in the world except Russia and Belarus
  • scholarship: 700/month + travel exepnses allowance

Please note: By the application deadline, you will need to have a fully approved Learning Agreement for Traineeship, signed by the departmental coordinator at the faculty as well as the host institution, so you need to create your application well in advance (at least 2 weeks before the deadline).

Scholarship Programme Supporting Mobilities of PhD Students

This programme is established by the Opatření Farmaceutické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity č. 6/2021.

The scholarship can be awarded to any PhD student going abroad for a study stay or a traineeship in the minimum length of 30 days

Applications are accepted throughout the calendar year until the allocated funds are exhausted; scholarship applications are processed in the order in which they are submitted.
