Academic year and Holidays
The Academic year usually begins in mid-September and is divided into 2 semesters - autumn and spring. In academic year 2023/2024:
- autumn semester: 18 September 2023 - 16 February 2024
- spring semester: 19 February 2024 - 5 July 2024
- extended examination period: 26 August - 6 September 2024
Students must enrol in each semester separately via IS within an allotted period of time.
During semester enrollment, students also choose courses for that given semester.
Changes to enrolled courses may be done up to 2 weeks after classes begin.
The examination period follows the teaching period, the last week of teaching is known as the "credit test week".
