"I want to be in charge of the faculty that is fully integrated within the Masaryk University," says newly elected Dean.
Newly elected Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy just received the Appointment Decree from the hands of the Rector. Officially, his mandates starts on 1st April 2021. David Vetchy declares his main goal to be full integration of our faculty within the Masaryk University structures. First steps towards the goal were discussed with the rector just after the appointment. Moreover, he plans to closely collaborate with the teams from the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science and CEITEC.
David Vetchy has already put together his team of vice-deans, so the last step is the approval of the Faculty Senate. "I have chosen the team after careful consideration. Each member comes from different Department of the faculty, which promises complex view on faculty-related problem solving. I wish for the employees and the students of the Faculty to be content and motivated. And this stands on mutual openness and trust."
Naeem Malek, our second-year Pharmacy student, got recognized and awarded as one of the best delegates and also delegate with best energy within committee at the prestigious Model United Nations conference held by Masaryk University.
