Committee of the Student Scientific Conference MUNI PHARM 2021 awards the best scientific presentations of MU students in two categories - undergraduate and postgraduate.
The Conference focuses on the research in the field of pharmacy, specifically on medicinal chemistry and analysis, pharmacognosy, toxicology, experimental and clinical pharmacology, molecular biology, pharmaceutical technology, social and clinical pharmacy.
Both undergraduate and postgraduate students of Masaryk University who are interested in presenting their own research and receive the feedback are welcome to participate actively.
We also warmly invite students, academics and researchers who would wish to attend and to get inspired.
The participants will present the outcomes of their scientific projects within 10 minutes, 5 minutes long discussion is to follow. Undergraduate students may present in either Czech or English language. Postgraduate students are to present in English. Depending on the number of participants, the presentations may be divided into sub-sections corresponding with the fields of research.

In the case of favorable epidemiologic circumstances, we hope to organise the Conference in person within the premises of Faculty of Pharmacy, Masaryk University. However, if the situation will not allow us, only the presenters and scientific committee will be present on spot, rest of the event will be broadcasted online. In the case that no meetings will be possible, we will organise whole event online.
Students of pregradual and postgradual programmes of the Faculty of Pharmacy can enroll into the Publications course and be awarded by ECTS. The Conference booklet will be published.
First three participants in each section will also receive the scholarship and the certification. The scientific committee will also select pregradual students to represent our Faculty at the International Student Scientific Conference that is traditionally held in the collaboration with Zentiva and Faculties of Pharmacy of Charles University (Hradec Kralove), Commenius University (Bratislava) and University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy (Kosice).
Registrations are open as of 2nd February 2021 via the registration form, the Conference is free of charge for all of the participants. In the case of active presentation, please, submit your abstract latest by 30th March 2021.

We are proud to announce that the Faculty of Pharmacy is honored to host professor Yashwanta Pathak from the American University of South Florida. Thanks to the Fulbright scholarship program, the renowned scientist will stay at our faculty for the next three months. He will host lectures for students and academic staff in the field of Nano Drug Delivery within the faculty as well as the whole Masaryk University.
