David Vetchý elected dean of Faculty of Pharmacy
The Academic Senate of MU’s Faculty of Pharmacy has elected a new dean: David Vetchý, the current head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology. He won 13 votes from a twenty-one-member senate in today's election. According to earlier statements, the rector is ready to appoint the dean with effect from 1 April. New dean’s term in office will be four years.
After the official appointment by Martin Bareš, the rector of the University, he will step into the position as the successor of current dean, Radka Opatřilová. After our faculty re-joined Masaryk University after 60 years last July, Radka Opatřilová has been appointed as a provisional dean until the proper dean's election take place.
