Recognition of Foreign Higher Education

Studies in Bachelor’s (3 years) and long-cycle Master’s degree programs (5-6 years) are open to those who have completed their secondary school studies. A certificate of recognition of foreign higher education and qualification must be provided by all students who earned a degree abroad. This official document ensures that your degree will be recognized in the Czech Republic (this does not apply to students from Germany, Hungary, Poland, and Slovenia thanks to bilateral agreements on mutual recognition of educational qualifications). Please keep in mind that the entire recognition procedure may take up to 2 months.
