Describe your journey to the Faculty of Pharmacy
Before joining the Faculty of Pharmacy, I completed my secondary education in my home country. I had always been interested in science and healthcare, and pharmacy seemed like the perfect combination of both. I chose this faculty not only because of its strong academic reputation but also because I wanted to step out of my comfort zone. Coming from a small country, I wanted to explore the world, meet people from different cultures, and gain new experiences. Studying abroad was a dream of mine, and choosing this program was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will never forget.
What did you like about your studies?
One of the things I loved most was the international environment. I made many friends from all over the world, and I know we’ll stay in touch for life. Brno itself is a very safe city and student-friendly. It’s easy to get around, and compared to many other European cities, it’s also much more affordable. The academic program was challenging but rewarding, and I especially enjoyed the practical work during the later years, particularly the time spent in the labs
What advice would you give to new students?
My biggest advice would be to study hard and stay organized. The program is not easy, but it’s incredibly interesting and worth the effort. Stay focused and don’t let other people’s opinions affect your journey. Everyone’s experience is different, so trust yourself and follow your own path.
What do you do now, and how does your journey continue?
Right now, I am finishing my one year internship in my home country, which is required in order to obtain my pharmacy license. This is an important step in my professional journey, and I’m excited to see where it takes me next.
